The way I broke…
no one really noticed.
It wasn’t one thing.
It was everything,
all at once.
But even when it kept hurting,
I just kept going.
Step by step.
People didn’t see what I was carrying,
but I felt every second of it,
in my chest,
in my silence,
in the way I smiled through it.
Still, I showed up.
Still, I stood.
What almost broke me… taught me.
Not in loud lessons,
but in quiet ones,
ones you only hear
when the world goes still.
It taught me how to let go,
how to hold on,
how to stand up
even with shaking knees.
I didn’t come back to prove anything.
I came back
because I never gave up on myself,
or the dream I carry
even when it felt distant.
And I appreciate every single soul
who stood with me,
even in silence,
even in spirit.
I’m still here.
Still standing.
Not just for me,
But for my people.
For my nation.
For the ones who need to know
you can break and still rise.
A little quieter maybe,
but a lot stronger.
And somehow,
more myself than I’ve ever been.
